Lost Swing Classics

Lost Classics From The Kings Of Swing

Nothing says "formal yet fun" better than the black tie sound of Swing Dance Music. For some, this music is a newly discovered treat. For others, a surprising reminder of joyful memories from long ago.

Many Swing songs no longer get the exposure they once did. Classic Swing Dance Music by such artists as Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra and Louis Prima still receive airplay. But many other great tunes seem to have gotten lost along the way. This makes hearing them again an unexpected treasure.

Here are my Top Ten Lost Classics:

We Have All The Time In The World- Louis Armstrong
Chet Baker- Let's Get Lost
Tony Bennett- What A Wonderful World (with k.d. Lang)
Nat King Cole- Too Marvelous For Words
Bobby Darin- That Funny Feeling
Bobby Darin- Fly Me To The Moon
Ella Fitzgerald- Something's Gotta Give
Louis Prima- Hey Boy Hey Girl
Frank Sinatra- At Long Last Love
Dinah Washington- Mad About The Boy
