The song starts with a bass line very reminiscent of "My Best Friends Girl". You may also recognize the electro-handclaps from "Let's Go". Never fear. There is more here than refried ideas from the 80s. Ric Ocasek's vocals take over and along with a catchy synth and some nice guitar work, the song has plenty of appeal and sounds quite contemporary while keeping the classic Car's mojo intact.
